4. Homestead

This Christian movie is doing extremely well, and while it has already been released, it may very well make it into 2025, according to Christian Film Blog. Perhaps the reason it’s doing well is that its plot hits on a secret fear in the hearts of many Americans right now. Though the plot is a heavy story about a nuclear bomb hitting the Los Angeles area and society devolving into rapid chaos, there’s an interesting faith-based element about a community of preppers who had previously pulled together in anticipation of something like this. They wrestle with the dilemma of those outside the sturdy walls and gates of the community who were not prepared and are desperately begging for help from those who took the time to store up supplies. Though this Christian film was released into theaters last month, it’s another one that’s doing really well, according to Christian Film Blog. If you can’t make it to the theater before its run ends, it will be worth streaming, for sure. The story is about the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who lived during the days of the Nazi regime and was very much against Hitler’s murder of the Jews. Though his vocation is that of pastor, he finds himself pulled into a plot to assassinate Hitler. You can view the trailer here.
