There's something about a movie involving the supernatural that tends to draw large audiences. This particular movie highlights the supernatural from a godly angle and connects the founding of America and its history to God's divine hand at work.

Heroic Pictures, in partnership with Fathom Entertainment, is already announcing the nationwide release of The American Miracle – Our Nation is No Accident into movie theaters. This movie is presently scheduled for a short run on June 9, 10, and 11, 2025, which may be why it's being announced so early.

The Movie's Timing Is No Accident

The timing of the movie is no accident. This July 4th will be America's 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. So this amazing docudrama, inspired by the New York Times bestselling book by Michael Medved, will hit the theaters in anticipation of a historic mile marker in America's history. The content of the movie explores God's divine hand in the founding of America and in this nation's astounding journey to becoming a blaze of freedom, as well as a prosperous and powerful land, according to The Christian Newswire.

Medved is an extraordinarily accomplished author, political commentator, film critic, and talk show host. He also attended Yale Law School and worked as a campaign speechwriter and political consultant, according to CBN.

America Is Not an Accident

"America's no accident," Medved told CBN in an interview. "And a pattern of happy accidents is still a pattern. And that's what the movie is about, is actually finding that pattern, which all of our most important leaders have believed in. From Washington, to Lincoln, to Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt; all of our leaders have understood that America has a divine purpose."

"Many of the Founding Fathers were not conventionally religious, but they deeply believed in what Washington, in his first inaugural address called, 'The Invisible Hand,'" Medved told The Christian Newswire, "which was the hand of God in human affairs."

Gratitude for God and His Divine Providence

"A strong theme in the film is gratitude for God and His divine providence, which we should never take for granted," Timothy P. Mahoney, Director and Executive Producer, told The Christian Newswire. "A lot of other nations look to America and wonder, 'What is it that makes America what it is?' The American Miracle clearly communicates that our freedoms and liberties don't come from a government or person; they come from a higher power – they come from God. It is in God that we trust."

The movie was filmed in locations across America and the United Kingdom and includes a cast of notable names such as Pat Boone, Kevin Sorbo, Nicole C. Mullen, Cameron Arnett, and James Arnold Taylor, according to the movie website. Information about the movie and additional cast members can also be found in the IMDb.
