Powerful ‘Hard Fought Hallelujah’ Cover on Star Search

One young man turned in a powerful cover performance of “Hard Fought Hallelujah” on Star Search. It was a moving rendition of the hit song from Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll. Watch the short but captivating clip to see and listen to the emotional performance of “Hard Fought Hallelujah.”

American Idol, America’s Got Talent and The Voice all remain popular despite being on television for quite some time. People continue to tune in to those programs regularly to see previously undiscovered talent and hear wondrous and moving covers of classics and all-time favorite tunes. People want to see who will change their entire lives with just one audition, one performance in front of the judges.

So, if those types of shows are popular and consistently pull in large audiences and respectable ratings regularly on other networks, why not try them elsewhere? That seems to have been the thinking of Netflix when they revived the old favorite Star Search, with Chrissy Teigen, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jelly Roll serving as the show’s judges.

The newly revived program is already producing show-stopping performances. In a clip posted on YouTube, one man, Bear Bailey, performed “Hard Fought Hallelujah.” It’s a fantastic performance of the song that is near and dear to the hearts of many. How could you not enjoy this song about enduring challenging times and having one’s faith tested, and his rendition of it?

Additionally, this performance is noteworthy for another specific reason. He took a big chance with that tune because he was singing in front of one of the song’s original singers: Jelly Roll.  The camera captured the popular musician and one of the show’s judges on his feet and singing along. It’s safe to say that the performance received his stamp of approval.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

The Belonging Co.'s Powerful ‘The Mighty Name of Jesus’ Performance

There are some songs that are released and clearly are highly blessed. This top-charting song is one of them. Watch the Belonging Co.'s powerful ‘The Mighty Name of Jesus’ performance.

Hope Darst is a phenomenal singer and worship leader. The Belonging Co. is accompanying her in this fantastic rendition of her hit song. From the beginning of the first word, you will be singing with Hope.

She has such strength and power in her vocals and her message. The band members are worshipful, and we get a moment to hear from the male vocalist beside her on verse two.

You will be singing with the chorus:

In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray
Calling on the power of Heaven, I proclaim
Every weapon formed against me, must break
In the mighty name of Jesus

The bridge comes as a declaration that we will not fear, because the blood of Jesus covers our lives and protects us against the enemy. She says the Lord sends an army of angels on behalf of his children. If you need a song that is a prayer for your family, for protection, or for spiritual awareness, this is it! Fear has no place in the life of a believer because He is our Prince of Peace.

You will love the way they conclude this song; it is hard not to see the sweetness in this worship session. Every single person involved appears to have a genuine heart for using their skills to praise God. We can all appreciate their down-to-earth environment and authenticity.

“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth." Philippians 2:9-10

Soul-Stirring Choir Performance of ‘To God Be the Glory (All for You)’

This video will have you in chills and with your hands up in the air. Take a moment and listen to this soul-stirring choir performance of ‘To God Be the Glory (All for You).’

The director starts accompanying the young chorus from the stage. As the choir begins, a soloist starts with verse one. The girl does a beautiful job. The young woman's joy is evident on her face, and the lyrics are powerful.

You will not be able to help but sing with her. Suddenly, the entire choir is singing, with a vast array of male and female vocal parts. The kids come from different backgrounds, yet they come together as one choir. They are all praising God and singing with their harmonies.

This is such a well-known hymn, and this version is stunning. The choir comes from Calvary Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, and these young people definitely blessed their congregation as they continue to bless their online viewers. This version of the modernized hymn includes an additional chorus you will love.

The chorus says:

I give my life to tell Your story
Let every breath bring You glory, God. It's all for You
To know Your love is all I'm after
So fill this heart, it's Yours forever God. It's all for You

The various parts are so well done. This choir director has organized a musical masterpiece that leads us in glorifying God! As you watch, let it sink in how this group of the next generation is proclaiming the same Biblical truths that have been celebrated through the generations. Our God is the same always. He is worthy.

"Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created." Revelation 4:11

Brandon Lake Releases Powerful ‘When a Cowboy Prays’ Music Video

This music video is incredible and tells quite a story. You will feel as if you are there in the moment with this country family. Check out Brandon Lake’s release of the powerful ‘When a Cowboy Prays’ music video.

At the start of this video, we see the sun rising as a cowboy steps out of his front door, and his wife is sitting in a rocking chair with her coffee and a Bible. He passes by the Bible and heads out for a hard day's work.

As he receives a horse to train, he treats the younger cowboy unkindly. The younger cowboy continues to live out his faith even when the older cowboy is not godly in his actions. The wife is seen watching from a distance at different moments.

The Chorus sings out:

When a cowboy prays
It starts raining in Oklahoma
Long lost sons come home to momma
And those stubborn horses break

During the video, we come to realize that the younger cowboy is the man’s son. We see a story play out of a father and a son trying to break a horse that is stubborn. The father is wrestling with his own behavior. He is absent from the dinner table; he appears to have forgotten who God called him to be, and then his wife gives him a meal and his Bible late one night.

The cowboy opens his Bible to see a picture of him and his son, then starts reading it again. He tears up and reconciles with his family. He allows his son to take the reins.

You see a change in this cowboy’s life because He puts Jesus first again. He has a smile on his face, his family is thriving, he is home for dinner, and he is empowering the next generation.

Prayer is powerful. It is a practice found in the life of every believer. God cares about our hearts and wants to invite us to talk with Him in prayer every day.

“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.” Colossians 4:2

Colton Dixon Drops Official Music Video for ‘The Love I Have For You’

Get inspired! See as Colton Dixon drops his official music video for ‘The Love I Have For You.’

The beginning of this video will immediately spark your interest with the artistry and creativity. At the start of the clip, Colton is seen in a mirror image on his bed, waking up in a dark room. He begins to sing about anxiety, a struggle that so many people can relate to who are watching. Colton appears “stuck in bed” with his mental health; however, then you get to the chorus, and he is empowered by the love that Jesus has for him.

The chorus sings out:

With the love I have for you
Ain't a mountain you can't move
In the dark, I'll be the light
In the fight, I'm by your side

This song is one that you will want to hear in the car, working out, or to pump you up in the morning. Colton bears his heart in the real battle with mental health and spiritual warfare that the enemy brings into the lives of believers. If you or someone you know is feeling stuck in a pit, this song will motivate you not to give up, because the love of Jesus will help you walk through the darkest valleys into victory.

At the bridge, Colton multiplies and dances in his red jumpsuit. The look in his eyes tells it all. He is vulnerable and confident in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The world needs brave people sharing the testimonies of their hardships and how Jesus has pulled them out of rough places and walked with them into His peace. You will love Colton’s take on the love of Jesus.

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18

Worship Team's Soul-Stirring ‘What a Beautiful Name’ Performance

A church’s praise and worship team turned in a beautiful, soul-stirring performance of “What a Beautiful Name.” This is one rendition of the familiar tune that you’ll want to listen to again and again. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear this moving cover of the song near and dear to the hearts of many, “What a Beautiful Name.”

The world is a crazy, lost and fallen place with many people hurting and searching for something, anything to stop the pain. They are looking for the slightest bit of relief and are looking everywhere for it. Sure, they may find something that helps for a little bit. It may numb the pain for a short period of time, but the hurt, heartache and suffering will soon return.

Of course, there is only one permanent solution. One that offers forgiveness of sins, eases all the hurting and suffering and provides rest and restoration. While our sins and transgressions may be great, Christ’s love is and always will be greater than our sins and all our fears, worries and burdens. In a clip posted on YouTube, a praise and worship team from a church in Tennessee performs a familiar tune that reminds us of the power of the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Since the song was initially released, many have covered “What a Beautiful Name,” and given its wonderful lyrics and powerful message, it is understandable. But this cover has to be one of the best you’re likely to hear. This performance has to be considered one of the best available.

Those beautifully written lyrics are sure to elicit an emotional reaction every time you hear them.

“You didn’t want heaven without us
So, Jesus, You brought heaven down
My sin was great, Your love was greater
What could separate us now?”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
