If we hang around people for any length of time, we will at some point be offended. Life is imperfect and people are imperfect. Meshing all of that together means we will offend and be offended. That being said, let me pose a formal apology to you if your offense comes from a misguided, pompous person who needs a deeper revelation of the love of Jesus Christ the Messiah. I was such a person in my youth, and I offended many in the name of my religion. I was demanding, harsh, quick to speak-slow to hear, lacking compassion and the beams of love did not burn as bright as they do today. I produced moments of Christlikeness, but I needed to suffer greatly before I learned to abide in Him and reflect His light and love.
