Hannah Belle - Little Town Square

https://www.hannah-belle.com/ - Hannah Belle is a true country girl hailing from Red Lick, MS where she grew up learning how to live the country way. Singing since she was three, country music came naturally to her, having a love and respect for the traditional country sound, but also embracing the modern sounds of country music today. Her dad has always played music and Hannah says her mom is her biggest fan. She writes a lot of her songs with her sister, Robin, so her music career has become a family business. Hannah’s dad is a Baptist minister and she has always been involved in church activities, so God and country flows naturally through most of her music.

Hannah's songs uphold the strong family and Christian values she’s grown up loving and respecting. She reminds the listener that with God, all things are possible. Hannah’s music always accentuates the positive side of life…engaging, uplifting and encouraging her fans and listeners. She truly has a heart for helping people and it shows in her music.

Hannah is a 2011 graduate of Mississippi College with a Mass Communications degree and she plans on putting that knowledge to good use building new fans daily through her personal appearances and all the social media outlets. With her warm, engaging personality, she loves to meet people, so it won’t be hard for her to do. And, with her ability to write and sing such compelling music, she’s an act who’s bound to connect.

Mary Watched the Face of Jesus [BMI]

Written in 1974; recorded at Hilltop, Nashville, in 1986, 'Mary Watched The Face of Jesus' is part of '30th Anniversary of I Want Us To Be Together In Heaven' CD. Because of Mary's 'Holiness', our Savior was in good hands. But, just think...she felt joy and pain for her children just as any mother does. Imagine her 'life-long' ordeal of watching her son die on a cross--knowing HE will rise again. When someone we love is suffering and dying, if they are a 'Believer', and we know they will go to heaven, do we grieve any less? Of course not. Mary suffered seeing her son beaten, maliciously...nailed to a cross...mocked by the crowd...and saw him never complain, but, willing to die--for 'her' and all of us! She is definitely the 'Bless-ed Mother'. I wrote this one day when my heart was heavy with the events of the cross, 'realizing' Mary watched.

One Crown [BMI]

In 1974, I wrote 'One Crown'. Scripture teaches, 'Believers' will receive multiple 'crowns' as rewards for 'faithful living for God' when we meet HIM, face to face. Knowing Jesus' Sacrifice, how could we 'not' lay all of 'our' crowns at HIS Feet...please share...God Bless!

I'll Go Home [BMI]

Home is a word that gives comfort and, for me, brings back wonderful memories. I wrote 'I'll Go Home' during a time of being persecuted as a Christian...1986, (c)1988, recorded on my CD, '30th Anniversary of 'I Want Us To Be Together In Heaven''. When most of your loved ones are 'gone', thoughts of being with them again in our Heavenly Home, makes 'HOME' get sweeter and sweeter.

Just A'Workin' For My Lord [BMI]

Written in 1974, recorded 1986 at Hilltop Studios, Nashville, with 'Alabama-Studio-Musicians', Just A' Workin' For My Lord is a fun Bluegrass Tune...Keyboards/ Gary Prim; Bass/ Jack Ross; Drums/ Clyde Brooks; Rhythm Guitar, Banjo, & Fiddle/ Bruce Watkins; Lead Guitar/ Greg Galbraith; Steel Guitar/ Sonny Garrish. 10 of my songs on '30th Anniversary of I Want Us To Be Together In Heaven', had these talented musicians on background. The PowerPoint is upbeat, using animals to explain the lyrics. Recording at Hilltop was a great experience.

He's Not Thru' Usin' You [BMI]

Too many people become 'defeated' when they have failed, yielding to temptation which caused their lives to be in turmoil and sometimes ruin. But...I've got good news! 'He's Not Thru' Usin' You'...I wrote this song for encouragement to us all...that, God 'specializes' in 'putting our pieces back together'. Our lives are fragile...our flesh is weak...but when we put our Faith in God...believing on His Son, Jesus, and making Jesus, Lord of our lives, God can 'transform' our 'pieces' and make us stronger in our brokenness. Be of Good Courage! 'He's Not Thru' Usin' You'!

It Just Means I'm Closer Home [BMI]

Written in 1980, 'It Just Means I'm Closer Home' is a relaxing melody, great for 4-part harmony. The more of my loved ones that are in heaven as time passes, makes me cherish the 'gift' of 'Eternity in Heaven', through 'Belief on Jesus'. I even use an old picture from Christmas, 1972, of my sisters and brother: L to R--Ethel, Helen, Charles, Betty, me. Betty and I are the only ones on this side of heaven. What a great reunion when we all are 'together' again.

I Am Looking For Jesus' Coming [BMI]

We cannot begin to comprehend what it will be like when Jesus Calls us home. In, 'I Am Looking For Jesus' Coming', I tried to relay my feelings in simple terms, as I consider that 'day'. I wrote this song in 1987, and it was included on '30th Anniversay of I Want Us To Be Together In Heaven' CD, compiled in 2003, released by SonSound. How do you explain the events to come? First, the 'calling away' of Believers into heaven...then, after the tribulation on earth, the 'physical' return of Jesus, together with us...all on white horses...for the 'Millennial Reign of Christ'. We don't know the hour He is coming...but, scripture teaches, 'even a common man can see the red sky and know there's a storm coming'. The world looks pretty 'stormy' to me! I was asked by a 'teen'... "It's not fair that my friend says she's 'Born Again', is not living 'right', and is going to heaven." My response... "God is Just! If she is truly 'Born Again', yes she will go to heaven...but...we will be rewarded by our 'Faithfulness to God on Earth', by our 'appointed position' during the Millennial Reign of Christ when He comes back to Earth...and I wouldn't want to spend 1,000 years SHOVELING HORSE POOP, would you?" Well, would you?

Red [BMI]

Understanding the absolute necessity of 'Jesus' Sacrifice on the Cross', I wrote, 'Red' in 1974. Blood sacrifice was required in ancient times for having sins forgiven. The act had to be done each year. When Jesus was crucified, His Blood had the 'redemption power' to cleanse ALL sins...for all who repent, and Believe ON Him... '[they] will not perish, but have everlasting life' [John 3:16]. In many cultures, the color 'red' has an important meaning. I teach Feng Shui. Red is the color of 'good luck' in the ancient Chinese Dynasties. How God has 'laid the paths' of the coming of His Son, Jesus, as our 'Savior of the World'. Because of Jesus' Blood, anyone, anywhere, of any culture, background, and tradition, can simply sincerely pray when they feel the convicting 'Power of God', and be forgiven and go to heaven. None of us have to find a 'spotless lamb' and sacrifice it once a year. How can we not celebrate the sufferings of Jesus Christ for us...sufferings that resulted in His Resurrection and the Resurrection for all Believers. His Blood... 'a beautiful, dark, crimson, red'...is what I want others to focus on when I die...because...because He Died for me, I will live again.

It's Guaranteed [BMI]

When writing 'It's Guaranteed', I tried to point out how even the best of this world is only temporary...wealth can be extinguished by stock-market-crash; warm weather and beautiful blossoms end with winter; and good health ends with eventual death. But all of these things are eternal for Believers...because... 'Jesus bought them for us' ... with His Death on the cross. There's no night, no curse on the earth or man...no more pain or sorrow... "...for the former things have passed away..." and another scripture ... "...those who live and believe ON Me [Jesus said] shall 'never' die ..." Believers face only the 'sting' of death...but live eternally... 'It's Guaranteed'!
