NASHVILLE, TN (March 27, 2026)
QHMG / Quartz Hill Records’ soulful country-pop duo, 2 Lane Summer, today announced their debut full-length album, Flawless, for release on April 24, with pre-save / pre-add available now. A feel-good collection of 12 uplifting songs, Flawless celebrates the healing power of romantic, brotherly and Godly love.

Produced by Ash Bowers (Matt Stell’s multi-Platinum No. 1 “Prayed for You”), the project marries raw, honest emotion with clean, bright, country-pop sheen and the smooth, trademark vocal harmonies of 2 Lane Summer’s Joe Hanson and Chris Ray that Billboard describes as “bold and beautiful.”

PRE-SAVE / PRE-ADD the Flawless album HERE.

“On our new record, Flawless, there’s a common thread of positivity and encouragement running through the songs, whether it’s a love song, a life song, or a faith song,” says Hanson. “When people listen to this album, we want it to leave them in a more positive state of mind.”

“We named the album Flawless because we all have insecurities and, being human, we all struggle with that,” says Ray. “But we want to uplift people with this album and want people to know we’re right there with you. So keep your head up and keep your chin up, because there’s light at the end of the tunnel.”

Album teaser track “First Dancin’ (Forever Version),” released today (3/27), is a reimagined, full-band version of the original piano-vocal track that became one of the duo’s highest-streamed songs and the first dance at many fans’ weddings.

The album’s title and focus track, “Flawless,” is an uplifting, sanguine love song, centered around a man’s heartfelt promise to always speak the truth that his woman is beautiful, even when she feels like the mirror—and the world—are telling her differently. Hanson and Ray co-wrote the track with Houston Phillips (Jason Aldean’s “Ride All Night”) and Kyle Schlienger (Brett Young’s Diamond-certified No. 1 “In Case You Didn’t Know”).

Hanson and Ray—whose friendship first began in a Nashville writers’ room—co-wrote nine of the 12 tracks on their debut album, working alongside some of Music City’s finest established and emerging songwriters.

Album Highlights

  • “Known for Loving You” — upbeat, roll-the-windows-down groove for summertime road trips.
  • “Life is Good” — bright, banjo-driven singalong about counting blessings and keeping the faith.
  • “Made by Him” — a faith-forward love song giving thanks for God’s unwavering love.
  • “Chances” — intimate, piano-led ballad showcasing the duo’s signature harmonies.
  • “Keeps Me Falling” — vivacious, up-tempo celebration of falling in love again and again.

Praised by SiriusXM Canada’s Eric Alper for “proving that great music, true stories ... still make for the best kind of love song,” 2 Lane Summer released their debut EP, The Love Songs, shortly after signing with Quartz Hill Records last year. Since then, the viral duo has received a steady stream of requests to perform at fans’ weddings—and even engagement proposals—across the U.S.

In an era of troubling news headlines and polarized politics, 2 Lane Summer’s dependable message of positivity, faith, friendship and love is resonating strongly with the public. The duo continues to amass a fast-growing fan base, which now includes nearly 800,000 social media followers and a music catalog surpassing 19.5 million streams.
