Canaan Baca 'Oh My Soul' Lyric Video

There’s something about a quiet room—an empty church—that somehow doesn’t feel empty at all. When Canaan Baca sings ‘Oh My Soul,’ in this glorious lyric video, the space may look still, but it feels full—full of presence, full of peace, full of that steady reminder that God shows up whether the room is packed or it’s just you and Him.

And maybe that’s exactly what your soul needs today. Because life doesn’t always feel loud with joy. Sometimes it’s quiet. Sometimes it’s heavy. Sometimes it’s just you trying to take the next breath.

But then these words come in like a gentle nudge: “You woke me this morning to mercy and grace, can’t count all the reasons to give You my praise…” and suddenly, you remember—not everything is perfect, but God is still good; not everything makes sense, but grace is still here; not everything feels joyful, but joy hasn’t left you.

I love how this song doesn’t pretend life is easy—it leans right into it: “Sometimes You’re giving or taking away, no matter the season, I’ll give You my praise.” That’s the kind of faith that grows deep roots—the kind that says, even here, I will bless the Lord.

And then comes the part that makes you want to move a little: “All day, all night, I will bless the Lord at all times.” So go ahead—take your shoes off. Let your kitchen floor, your living room, or the quiet of your bedroom become holy ground. Let yourself sway a little, dance if you want to, lift your hands if you need to. Crank up the stereo. Because worship isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence.

Even in an “empty” room, heaven feels close when your heart starts singing, “Bless the Lord, oh my soul, remember what He’s done.” Friend, your soul hasn’t forgotten—it just needed reminding. So today, let this be your moment—not polished, not planned, just real. A little music, a little movement, and a whole lot of Jesus, as your soul remembers… He’s been so good to us.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,” Psalm 103:1-2.

Jesus I Love you

Jesus I Love You” is an acoustic worship song about the love that found me before I ever knew how to breathe. Before my heart beat its first beat, Jesus had already chosen the cross, already written mercy into my story, already called me out of darkness. This version is stripped back — just voice and guitar — because sometimes the simplest sound carries the deepest truth. If you’ve ever felt unworthy, unseen, or too far gone, this song is a reminder: He loved you first. He loves you still. He loves you without end. Closer - Garrett Hallman

This song came from a place of surrender — that moment when you realize it doesn’t matter where you’ve been or where you’re headed, because Jesus is the only One you’re holding onto. When everything else feels uncertain, His hand is steady. His presence is enough. His love is the anchor. #worshipmusic #Jesus #NewSong #Surrender #GarrettHallman

Down At Dawn - Garrett Hallman

“Down at Dawn” the second release off my CD coming in March is the sound of someone waking up exhausted but refusing to stay defeated. This song is for anyone who’s been carrying too much and needs the reminder that Jesus already won the battle you’re still fighting. If you’ve ever opened your eyes and felt the weight of yesterday still on your chest, this one will hit deep. I wrote this during a season where dawn felt heavy — but God kept proving He was stronger than anything I was dragging into the new day. Let this song breathe strength back into you. #WorshipSong #NewMusic #InspirationalMusic #PassionateWorship #GarrettHallman

Heart-Stirring Violin Instrumental of 'Amazing Grace'

Sometimes the most powerful worship doesn’t need words. When a gifted musician picked up her violin and began playing a soft orchestral cover of ‘Amazing Grace,’ the room seemed to slow down. The melody began gently—quiet, tender, almost like a whisper of prayer. But as the music unfolded, the arrangement grew stronger, fuller, and deeply moving. Pause for just a moment out of your day, close your eyes, and listen to this heart-stirring violin instrumental of ‘Amazing Grace.’

Even without lyrics, the familiar notes carried the message straight to the heart, and the musician, Zhanna Eliseeva, a professional artist based in Germany who shares instrumental performances on both violin and piano, can’t help but get carried away in the song. Through her music, she blends classical beauty with the emotional depth of worship songs, creating something that feels both cinematic and sacred.

Hear These Familiar Words in This "Amazing Grace" Violin Cover

It’s not often we pause long enough to hear our favorite worship songs without singing along. In church, we lift our voices together in praise. But listening to this instrumental version of ‘Amazing Grace’ offers a different kind of worship—one that lets the melody speak directly to the soul.

As Zhanna’s violin rises and falls, you can’t help but hum the familiar words in your heart:

“Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.”

The beloved hymn was written in 1772 by John Newton, a clergyman and former slave trader who experienced a dramatic spiritual transformation. His testimony of redemption became one of the most powerful hymns in Christian history.

Amazing Grace is One of the Most Recorded and Sung Hymns in the World

Today, ‘Amazing Grace’ is considered one of the most recorded and sung hymns in the world—and hearing it through the voice of a violin reminds us of something beautiful: sometimes worship doesn’t need lyrics. Sometimes the music alone carries the grace of God straight to our hearts.

Through her breathtaking performance, Zhanna allows listeners like you and me to experience this timeless hymn in a fresh way—one that invites quiet reflection, gratitude, and awe. Because grace doesn’t just sound sweet when we sing it. It sounds sweet when we simply listen.

“For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.”  Luke 15:24

Worship Team's Chilling 'Available' Performance

There is something special about viewing a live worship recording. This is a sweet moment when a church invites us into its moment of praise. Watch this worship team's chilling 'Available' performance.

First Baptist Clarksville begins with a piano and a mandolin in a dark room. It is the most beautiful and inviting moment of these musicians playing for the glory of God. The lead singer begins a stunning verse, as if praying to God through song. You will have glimpses of each instrumentalist and the choir members supporting behind.

You will love the purity and simplicity of this song. This was originally written by Elevation Worship; this church puts a completely new take on this well-known song. It is so easy to catch on and join in to praise Jesus with them from wherever you are when you view it. You will feel as if you are also in the room with this excellent worship team. First Baptist Clarksville shares on its website that its goal is “helping people connect with Jesus Christ by creating an environment where they can experience the presence of God through worship.” They are being so faithful to this mission and blessing the world who listens to them.

The chorus lyrics say:

I hear You call
I am available
I say, "Yes, Lord
I am available"

There is a precious moment of surrender on the bridge of the song where they declare that they are before the Lord and He can have it all. You will be so blessed when this lead vocalist belts at the end. She has such a pretty voice and a joyful stage presence. As you listen to this song, reflect on the areas of your own life where you need to release your grip and trust in God.

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” Isaiah 6:8

Chris Tomlin on Reviving the Earliest Known Christian Hymn in The First Hymn Documentary

Chris Tomlin sits down with Brandon Woolum to talk about The First Hymn, a fascinating new documentary that explores the discovery of the earliest known Christian hymn and the journey to bring it back to life for today’s church.

In this conversation, Chris Tomlin shares how a call from songwriter Ben Fielding led him into a once-in-a-lifetime project—reimagining a nearly 2,000-year-old worship song discovered on a fragment of papyrus in Oxyrhynchus, Egypt. With the help of historian John Dickson, the ancient lyrics and musical notation were studied and then transformed into a modern worship anthem for today’s church.

Tomlin reflects on the powerful continuity between the early church and believers today, what it means to sing words written by Christians nearly two millennia ago, and why this project is about more than just another worship song—it’s about the story of the church and the generations of faith that came before us.

He also shares about the creative process behind the film, the live worship moment featured in the documentary, and gives an update on new music, including the live version of “This Is My Father’s World” from Red Rocks.

The First Hymn will be in theaters nationwide March 24 and 26 through Fathom Entertainment.
