Young Duo’s Precious Version of ‘10,000 Reasons’

A young duo turned in a precious version of the beloved praise and worship song “10,000 Reasons.” It’s likely the most adorable and heartwarming cover of the popular tune you have ever heard. Watch the short but sweet clip to listen to and see this young, musically gifted duo perform “10,000 Reasons.”

Contemporary Christian music is extremely popular, and it is only becoming more so with every passing day.  Even many churches have moved away from the old church hymns, instead filling the praise and worship portion of their services with contemporary Christian music. Some may see that trend as a positive, while others may have an entirely different opinion.

Regardless of your thoughts and feelings on the music that houses of worship choose to use in their services, Contemporary Christian music is overwhelmingly winning. Now, even if you aren’t a fan of that genre of worship music, there are still some songs that are undeniable classics, which are so powerful, moving and beautifully written, such as “10,000 Reasons.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, two young men perform Matt Redman’s classic. The talented duo, brothers Nicholas Protsenko, 4, and Leo Protsenko,7, give a powerful, moving and adorable cover of the song that is near and dear to the hearts of many. Nicholas plays the keyboard and handles the vocals, while older brother Leo plays the violin.

“Bless the Lord, oh my soul
Oh, my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before”

As the video shows, several people stop to watch and listen to the young musicians. And how could you possibly walk on by when hearing something so cute? After their performance, the crowd gives the two little guys a well-deserved round of applause.

Even at their young age, they are already using the gifts and talents given to them to bring glory and honor to His name.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

If Jesus Died Today (feat. Raul Barba)

This song raised the thought-provoking question of what would happen if Jesus died today. Consider who would mourn and who would pray. Would church pews be filled on Sunday? Music by Clare Steffen (USA) & Raul Barba (Argentina), Lyric by Rick Amburgey (USA) & Clare Steffen. Vocals & Production by Raul Barba, as a part of the Round The Globe project.

Blessing Offor Drops Official Music Video for ‘Real’

Blessing Offor has released the official music video for his latest hit, "Real." This catchy and beautifully written love song from the popular Christian music artist will make you want to repeatedly listen to and view it. Watch the short clip to see and listen to the official music video for "Real."

It's impossible to get away from love songs. Odds are good that if you're listening to music of any genre, kind or style, it's a love song in some form or shape. Love is a subject that has kept singers and songwriters busy for hundreds, if not thousands of years, and that does not appear to be changing anytime soon.

Love is the most tremendous, powerful force on Earth, and it would only make sense that so many of our songs, movies and television shows would be about love. Who doesn't want to hear more about love? One look at what's happening on the news, social media and in government, and it's safe to say that we desperately need more love and kindness in the world.

While there are songs that cover every kind and area of love, Blessing's "Real" is a tune about romantic love, and how he nearly gave up on finding love. Right before he did, though, he sings about how he found the person who came into his life and made him change his mind and outlook on love.

The entire song is beautifully written. In the tune's opening verse, he shares how he was content to throw in the towel and give up on finding true love. Then, suddenly and instantly, everything changed.

"Everybody's busy acting
Making believing, and pretty masking
Chasing things that ain't never been worth having
And just when I almost give up, here you come"

This fantastic and utterly delightful love song sounds like one that could easily become popular at weddings.

Genesis 2:24 "For this cause will a man go away from his father and his mother and be joined to his wife; and they will be one flesh."

TobyMac Releases Heartfelt Lyric Video for ‘Goodbye (For Gabe)’

TobyMac has released the heartfelt lyric video for his song “Goodbye (For Gabe).” It’s an emotional song and video about the loss of someone close to him, and it’ll probably leave you reaching for the tissues to wipe away the tears. Watch the short but powerful clip to listen to and watch TobyMac’s lyric video for “Goodbye (For Gabe).”

Life is a wonderful, fantastic and precious gift from the good Lord above; there is no doubt about that. This precious, delicate gift should be protected in every way possible, for there is no greater, more valuable gift on Earth than life itself.

We’ll experience much of His undeserved blessings and love in this life. Unfortunately, not every instance and circumstance in life will bring about joy or be a cause for celebration. Sadly, there will be times marked by pain and heartache. We’ll go through deep, dark valleys. Of everything that can and does result in pain and hurt, there is arguably no worse feeling than losing a loved one. Their absence hurts and will forever and always be felt.

In his latest song, “Goodbye (For Gabe),” TobyMac sings about losing someone close to him, Gabe Patillo. According to the Gospel Music Association, Gabe was a Diverse City member “where he sang background vocals, was a choreographer and dancer and co-produced TobyMac tours.”

The song’s lyrics, which will tug on your heartstrings, are all about what TobyMac wished he had had the opportunity to do before Gabe’s passing.

“And even though I know I’ll see you on the other side
I wish I coulda said
(Goodbye) to all the late-night talkin’
The long bus rides and the downtown walkin’”

In a message posted on TobyMac’s official Facebook page in April 2024, following Gabe’s passing, TobyMac mentioned how he was crushed by his friend's death but found comfort in the fact that Gabe met Jesus that day and was now healed.

Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Ben Fuller Shares the Heart Behind His New Album 'Walk Through Fire'

From a Vermont dairy farm to the Grand Ole Opry stage, Ben Fuller’s journey has been anything but ordinary. In this powerful interview with Brandon Woolum, Ben opens up about the deeply personal stories behind his brand new album 'Walk Through Fire', how his duet with Carrie Underwood came together, what it means to write songs that reach the broken, and more.

Beloved Worship Song ‘10,000 Reasons’ Receives a Stunning Rendition

I have to tell you what I just watched. What I just felt as I listened to a beloved worship song ‘10,000 Reasons’ as it received a stunning rendition that will stop you in your tracks. It is the most moving, soul-stirring version I have ever heard.

Have you ever heard of worship being sung over a deep rich bass guitar with voices so incredible you stop folding laundry mid-sock? It felt like the world tilted, and God was present. The music video is by the worship team called Scenery Strains Cebu.

They were set up outside the San Roque Parish in Lutac, City of Naga, Cebu, nestled in the breathtaking hills of the Philippines, where the sun rises like a benediction and the palm trees sway like hands lifted in praise. The video captured footage of all over the island and reminded me how the layers of green, views of the ocean, and with the church behind them, it was like God’s own cathedral!

“Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me, Let me be singing when the evening comes…”

And oh, how they sang.

I could barely breathe by the time they got to, “Still my soul will sing Your praise unending…”

Because isn’t that what we want? To be the kind of people who keep singing — even after the diagnosis, the loss, the unanswered prayers. To still lift our voices from the ashes and believe there's something holy in the breaking.

And right there — in the middle of mango trees and gravel and the open sky — that’s exactly what they did.

It felt like the song wrapped its arms around you and whispered, “It’s okay. God’s still worthy. You can still bless His name.”

I wanted to climb inside that moment and stay awhile. And you know what? Maybe we can. Maybe every time we remember that we have even one reason to bless the Lord — let alone 10,000 — we return to this scene in Cebu and let our souls sing again.

So go ahead, sweet friend. Watch the video. Let it wash over you.

You might cry. You probably will. But you’ll also remember what hope sounds like.

And hope sounds a lot like a deep bass guitar, a handful of faithful voices, and a hillside in Cebu singing “Bless the Lord, O my soul.”

“Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.” Psalm 96:1-2
