Paige King Johnson’s Acoustic ‘Why God Made Small Towns’ is a Must-Listen

Paige King Johnson’s acoustic rendition of “Why God Made Small Towns” is a must-listen. The rising country singer from North Carolina stopped by the GodTube Music Studio in Nashville and gave us this exclusive performance of her song. Watch the short video to see and hear Paige perform “Why God Made Small Towns.”

Across the United States of America, there are large metropolitan areas. These areas, which span from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean, have massive skyscrapers, large amounts of slow-moving traffic and tons of people hurriedly trying to get from Point A to Point B. Everyone is constantly in a rush to get somewhere in places like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City and Atlanta.

While there are several large and recognizable cities in the country, there are many more small towns. Small towns easily outnumber massive metropolitan areas, and it’s not even close.  Sure, small towns may not have everything that a place like New York or Chicago has as far as opportunities go, but there are other reasons why small towns are near and dear to the hearts of many.

Before playing her song, Paige explained why she wrote the song and why small towns mean so much to her.

“This is a song of mine that I wrote about the small place that I was raised,” she said. “And I learned very quickly when I moved away from it to the big city that there had to be a higher power to make places like that and be able to raise people.”

Anyone who grew up or lives in an area considered a small town will easily identify with Paige’s song. They’ll recognize everything Paige sings about and mentions in her beautiful tune. Even if you’re not familiar with the charm of small towns, you’ll still enjoy Paige’s outstanding performance.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
