His Beautiful Work

The sparkling stars in the sky, the aurora in all its colors, the clouds spread out softly like wool, The birds singing to greet the morning, and the trees praising Him as their leaves whisper— Even to the wildflower, smaller than my pinky nail, God has embroidered beauty. How beautiful are the works of the Lord. No darkness can ever cover His light. The Lord has planted a melody even in my small and humble heart. I praise the Lord who lets me sing of peace and joy in every circumstance. The reason I can sing with this freedom and joy that cannot be understood is because the great God has made me His child. To all who receive Jesus and believe in His name, He has given the right to become children of God. If you open your heart to Jesus and trust in His name, your life will be transformed. I long to share with you this freedom and the joy the world cannot give. How beautiful are the works of the Lord. The Lord has planted a melody even in my small and humble heart. The sparkling stars in the sky, the aurora in all its colors, the clouds spread out softly like wool, The birds singing to greet the morning, and— Even to the wildflower, smaller than my pinky nail, God has embroidered beauty. No darkness can ever cover His light. I praise the Lord who lets me sing of peace and joy in every circumstance. How beautiful are the works of the Lord.

'Creation Song' is an exciting song about the creation account. According to the Bible, Heaven and earth were created in six days. The song tells the creation account, as described in Genesis one and two, as well as Job 38. 'The earth was void and without form, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. You formed dry land; the ground, it shows.' 'The sun and the moon in the vault give light. The little lights shine in the vault at night. They move around up above. The birds of the air, they take flight. The animals roam, and the plants grow. The rivers of the world begin to flow. The springs rise up to water the earth; the earth stands still, this I know.' Julie Kinscheck- Follow the Lord

"Follow the Lord"- its a JAM! A Conviction! A MISSION! What do we all try to do as Christians? follow the Lord! He told us to carry our cross and follow him (Matt 16:24). We are to imitate his relationship with his father God and follow him as fishers of men! But following Jesus isn't always easy! I have had some deep struggles on my walk with Him, but He has been faithful. And I rejoice in the life He has given me! We all can find life to the full in Him! I want to thank the incredible people that helped make this song come to life: The song was first inspired by a women's night lesson to be taught by Lory Demshar. I was asked to lead a song that evening; I knew the title for the lessons was "Follow the Lord"- and this hook just descended like an angel from heaven onto my head on the car ride to church that evening. By the time I got there, I had the first verse and chorus. I immediately sang it to Lory who heard the Spirit and directed me to teach it immediately to the women theere that evening. After chatting with one of my voice students, Crystyna Cooney, that week in her lesson- she suggested I write more verses, which I did- and then I wrote a full SATB vocal arrangement and soon I taught it soon to our worship team! Then I decided this should go on my new album, and while driving again I got this inspiration to put a "We Will Rock You" beat at the beginning and add a gospel choir! And it wasn't till shortly before I flew to Black Mountain to record it that I wrote the break down bridge! Neal Merrick Blackwood was producer/ engineer/ drums & Percussion- He is stellar! One of my new heroes! He makes me shine! THANK YOU! Chris Rosser on Piano/ organ/ electric guitar is SOOO very musical! THANK YOU! Zack Page didd a fantastic job on bass and is such a joy to work with- THANK YOU! Singers of this project include: Max Dasher (American fame) and Jeanie Grindstaff (Touring singer)- both were so much fun to sing with! Great ears! THANK YOU! The Brighter Day Community Chorus went above and beyond singing all the parts for this and "Our Sweetest Gift" in one very long session! You ROCKED! THANK YOU! A special shout out to Rich Evans who predicted this song would be a hit! O Holy Lord - Kom Hellig Ånd

This song is too good not to be heard in a wider context. Fredrik Lauvland / Mikael Stensland Kollektivet Lovsang Translation notes: Lyrics are best translated thought for thought as much as possible. Word for word is usually a mess, and it's a good idea to avoid well-worn phrases, for once these are over-used they become clichés that have lost the power to stimulate. "Hellige Ånd / Hellige Ånd" & "Kongenes Konge" are both terms that are important to get right, but their translations don't fit the music. Hellige Ånd is 4 syllables with a / ^^ / rhythm, Hellig Ånd has 3: / ^ /. But the English, "Holy Spirit" has 4 syllables in an iambic pattern / ^ / ^ , while "Holy Ghost" is too old-fashioned to use nowadays, and has wrong associations. Likewise, King of Kings is iambic / ^ / but "Kongenes Konge" goes / ^^ / ^ . So when choosing a suitable translation I have first rephrased the opening lines. "O Holy Lord,” which preserves the "holy" aspect, and introduces the point that the LORD is that Spirit who is present; The Holy Spirit is God here personally, no less! I chose "O Holy LORD,” not "Come..." because "come" gives the impression we are bossing God around, which is unfortunate, but having once said O, which is a supplication, when we later sing "Come, Holy Spirit.." this also comes across as a supplication; and of course, now the proper subject of the song: the Holy Spirit, has been invoked by His title. To fix the rhythm problem of "King of Kings", I moved it to the line before to get it to scan, and transferred the thought-content to the next line. "To you would I belong" has a very particular meaning or nuance contained in the word-order: "I wish or long to belong to you". But "I would belong to you" implies "..."but I don't" while "To you l would belong" can imply "I wish to" but could imply: ... "but that isn't possible". The original line reads "I give myself completely to you", which quite obviously has far too many syllables for the line. A shorter form "I wholly give myself, eases the strain but then can be misheard as "holy", and in any case still doesn't solve much. "My self I wholly give" will scan, and by separating "my" and "self" makes a point, but leaves out "to whom or what?"; so it feels both unsatisfactory, incomplete, and what is worse, - sounds banale. "O" on its own, does not mean the same as "Oh". "O" means "it is you I am addressing", while "Oh" (in this setting,) is a sigh from the heart. "Hovering", is, of course, a reference to Genesis 1 verse 2. https://youtu.be/3wNrJISn-vU?si=PBbIQNvJg-EsGANp

Be Thou My Vision

A beautiful and classical rendition of this timeless Hymn featuring "Clara Baldwin" as the Soloist. Produced by "Judith Baker" | LeBakerMusic.com. The music is originally from the Irish folk song "Slane." The words are based on a Middle Irish poem traditionally attributed to "Dallán Forgaill" from the 6th Century. In 1905, "Mary Elizabeth Byrne" translated the poem into English and "Eleanor Hull" fashioned it into the verse format. with slight modifications. It was first published as "Be Thou My Vision" in 1912. Present in most church hymnals, the hymn is acclaimed to be one of the most popular hymns in the United Kingdom. Julie Kinscheck- Follow the Lord
