The plane then lifted slightly off the ground before crashing and exploding in a huge fireball. Video also revealed portions of a building’s shredded roof next to the end of the runway. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear says he expects the death toll to increase and says 16 families reported loved ones unaccounted for. The airport has resumed operations.

Josh Hammer lights into the results from New York, Virginia, and New Jersey, breaking down what they really say about the state of the Republican Party and where the movement goes next. He argues that the results were predictable — and that the GOP’s refusal to adapt could cost them big heading into 2026. The Greg Laurie Show, November 9, 2025

What does it mean to spiral—and is it actually possible to find blessings amid devastating loss? On today’s episode of The Greg Laurie Show, Pastor Greg welcomes author and pastor Levi Lusko for an honest—and often humorous—conversation about grief, calling, leadership, and the surprising ways faith can sustain us through the worst life has to offer. Together, Pastor Greg and Levi trace their family’s intertwined journeys through ministry, loss, and redemption. From the nostalgia of swapping cassette tapes and youth ministry war stories to the raw pain of losing a child or parent, the two open up about suffering, resilience, and the pursuit of God’s purpose in real life. Death Toll Rises To Seven In Deadly UPS Plane Crash In Kentucky

DEATH TOLL RISES TO SEVEN IN DEADLY UPS PLANE CRASH IN KENTUCKY Officials have confirmed seven people are dead after a UPS cargo plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Louisville’s Muhammad Ali International Airport on Tuesday evening. Mayor Craig Greenberg said during a news briefing that three crew members were on board the aircraft and that four other victims were on the ground. “There were three crew members on the plane. The four that we have confirmed dead are not on the plane,” Greenberg said. “We believe it will be seven that we’re aware of at this time.” Authorities say the crash was likely caused by engine failure during takeoff, sparking a massive fireball that could be seen for miles. Emergency crews continue to search the crash site, while officials have extended condolences to the victims’ families.

Trump administration warns of 'mass chaos' in air travel if government shutdown continues

The Trump administration is warning that air travel could soon face severe disruptions if the ongoing government shutdown stretches into next week. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said Wednesday that the financial strain on air traffic controllers and TSA workers, who have been working without pay, is creating a dangerous situation. “Each day the shutdown continues, the risk grows,” Duffy said, adding that the situation could escalate into what he called “mass chaos” if the stalemate isn’t resolved soon. Flight delays and cancellations have already been on the rise as staffing shortages worsen. Duffy cautioned that, without a resolution, some parts of U.S. airspace could be temporarily closed to ensure safety. The warning comes as negotiations between the White House and congressional leaders remain at a standstill, with no clear path forward to reopen the government.

Proposition 50 Passes In California, Giving Democrats Potential Boost In Congress

Voters have overwhelmingly approved Proposition 50, a ballot measure that will reshape the state’s congressional districts for the next three election cycles. The measure replaces maps drawn by an independent commission with new boundaries created by the Democratic-controlled Legislature, a move expected to add up to five Democratic-held seats in Congress. Proposition 50 was introduced in response to Texas’ Republican-led redistricting, which added several GOP seats earlier this year. With California’s vote, Democrats are hoping to regain the upper hand in the fight for control of the U.S. House in the 2026 midterms.
